Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Middle School Teacher, you will be expected to perform a variety of pivotal roles to facilitate a dynamic and nurturing learning environment. Your responsibilities include
1. Planning, preparing, and delivering instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences for all students.
2. Developing schemes of work and lesson plans that align with curriculum goals and educational standards.
3. Assessing and recording students’ progress, providing grades and feedback, and communicating this information effectively to students, parents, and colleagues.
4. Maintaining a tidy and orderly classroom and providing a safe and stimulating environment that encourages students to engage in the learning process.
5. Collaborating with peers to enhance the instructional environment, participating in professional development opportunities, and staying updated with relevant educational practices and student engagement techniques.
6. Establishing and enforcing rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among the students under your supervision.
Skills & Experience
The successful applicant for the position of Junior Middle School Teacher must meet the following criteria
1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field; Master’s Degree preferred.
2. Valid teaching certification for middle school grades.
3. Minimum of 1-2 years of teaching experience at the middle school level.
4. Strong knowledge of the middle school curriculum and standards.
5. Proven ability to develop and implement instructional strategies that cater to a range of learning abilities and styles.
6. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with proficiency in using technology for educational purposes.
